HOLIDAY MURDERGAME WHERE ARE THEY NOW MEME

It's the hap-happiest season of all, and what better way to celebrate than by remembering that one (or more) horribly traumatic experience that permanently changed the face of not only your relationships but possibly your outlook on life itself?

Any character (including NPCs!) who's ever been in any murdergame is invited! Feel free to share with your friends!

Regardless of how you choose to use this meme, there's two blanket rules:
1) Make sure the header of your comment has your character's name, home canon, and murdergame listed. If you used the same account for several murdergames, you can use the same toplevel for all of them.
2) No blank comments! First and foremost this is a chance to catch up with old murdergame buddies, and maybe make new ones if you choose! Thus, your comment should go into whatever degree of detail you like describing what life has been like since the murdergame ended. Did life go back to normal? Did they get married? Have a kid? Move to another universe entirely and start over with their found family? Have they kept in touch? Go into as much detail as you want, just put something!

You can use this meme to set up any kind of "canon" or canon-compliant holiday threads with your castmates, big holiday party or no.

OR... you can pretend that there's an interdimensional all-murdergame nondescript winter holiday party that you've been invited to attend! Maybe the Curtains narrators made sure the Denny's was conveniently empty (don't mind the weird old guy in the woods out back), or maybe there was some other convenient arrangement. Either way, you received an invite, and you're here now! So spike the eggnog and check for mistletoe, because the night is probably going to get wild.

My, my, my now isn't this a gathering... a meeting of characters who should never have met, or those who should have parted years ago! Is it really that time of year? Well I suppose it is, and holidays invoke nostalgia in us all but really, to summon us all, including me....

[ You're free to ignore this muttering, Wizard doesn't seem to mind any. He'll call out to anyone in the vicinity: ]

YOU! Yes, you. What kind of dastardly plots transpired in your story? Was it one where the Overseers were victims to the plot from the start, or was it one where there hand was forced, for machinations or other contrived reasons, too many to count!!!! I am your humble Wizard and for now, in this very liminal space, I shall be the recorder of your tales!

[Hime jolts at being called out. She hides behind the nearest Christmas tree and shouts back.]

We already have a narrator! I actually think we have a bunch of them now!

For shame!!!! Who is this omniscient creature!!?! We shall have words!!! There can only be one of us you see, and I have been told this my role to play, and if I am forced out of it.....

I might just fall to pieces!!!! [ He makes a mock gesture of distress, he is clearly not serious. ]

Just kidding!!!!! But seriously, I doubt they possess the knowledge I do. I may not have the powers of a mastermind or an NPC, but you see, I am a Wizard who's job it is to lead the tale along....you will find no better host than me! At least, that is what I am supposed to say.

[ He winks. ]

[Very slowly, the tiny girl pokes her head out from behind the tree.]

I don't really know what an NPC is, but does that mean you're the only narrator you know? Maybe you can be friends with all the other ones?

N-P-C. A non-playable character!!! One who's goal it is to lead you along the story beats, who may or may not be the FINAL BOSS... or perhaps just another character to woo!?! The world is your oyster, dear girl!!!!

[ I am so sorry. ]

But no, of course not! I know several NPCs, several masterminds.. the distinction is important you see, though maybe it really is only but a trifle thing. [ He shrugs, nonchalant. ]

Wait, do you mean... uh, I don't actually know what you mean. [gulp] So everyone who wasn't a... uh... player was a narrator in yours? I don't get it, but nobody ever tells me anything important anyway.

Close enough, close enough!!! Really, the details are more trouble than they're worth, so don't trouble yourself with them...

[ He smiles, brightly. ]

And well, that's only for heroines who have reached a BAD END to know, and I presume by your very presence here that you've reached a HAPPY ENDING? My congratulations! Let your mind not be bogged down by the mechanisms or possibilities within, that is for us, your dear orchestrators you see....

[In the distance, the actual otoge heroine who showed up sneezes and trips over something.

I don't get it. Does that mean you can change what happens like they can?

A shot and a miss! [ Emulates a gun with his hand. ] A near one at that, so don't feel too stupid.

I would call myself a guide, a hero, a villain, a friendly shoulder to cry on....whatever the story demands of me to advance the plot, you see. Does that help?

I guess so? I mean, I think all narrators do that. Then again, somebody said some of them are supposed to be character characters and others aren't, but my head hurts when I think about it too long.

[Honestly, Wizard probably was not addressing him at all considering they were in the same murdercity together, but when has that ever stopped Belial from doing whatever the hell he wants?]

Me? Why, I'm sure I've exposed enough of myself to you already. But I'm not so stingy as to spare any effort when there's a willing audience... so, where shall I start?

May I suggest stripping? For all their chatter of stripchecks and the like, they really ARE rather shy...an opening act does wonders you see, for the courage of others. Surely you see the appeal to being a beacon of light—a beacon of sex appeal!!! Forgive me, I forgot for a second I don't need to beat around the bush with you. I can admire a man who knows what he wants and how to take it....
