HOLIDAY MURDERGAME WHERE ARE THEY NOW MEME



It's the hap-happiest season of all, and what better way to celebrate than by remembering that one (or more) horribly traumatic experience that permanently changed the face of not only your relationships but possibly your outlook on life itself?

Any character (including NPCs!) who's ever been in any murdergame is invited! Feel free to share with your friends!

Regardless of how you choose to use this meme, there's two blanket rules:
1) Make sure the header of your comment has your character's name, home canon, and murdergame listed. If you used the same account for several murdergames, you can use the same toplevel for all of them.
2) No blank comments! First and foremost this is a chance to catch up with old murdergame buddies, and maybe make new ones if you choose! Thus, your comment should go into whatever degree of detail you like describing what life has been like since the murdergame ended. Did life go back to normal? Did they get married? Have a kid? Move to another universe entirely and start over with their found family? Have they kept in touch? Go into as much detail as you want, just put something!

You can use this meme to set up any kind of "canon" or canon-compliant holiday threads with your castmates, big holiday party or no.

OR... you can pretend that there's an interdimensional all-murdergame nondescript winter holiday party that you've been invited to attend! Maybe the Curtains narrators made sure the Denny's was conveniently empty (don't mind the weird old guy in the woods out back), or maybe there was some other convenient arrangement. Either way, you received an invite, and you're here now! So spike the eggnog and check for mistletoe, because the night is probably going to get wild.

[Lala arrives dressed for the occasion, slightly older but much the same as she was before... and pretty upbeat! Huh. You'd think being separated from her human friends would have made her feel sad, wouldn't you? Surely she actually has been separated, following space law to the letter, and definitely hasn't been taking advantage of murdergame mastermind tech to sneakily hang out on Earth all the time.

She does, however, frown as the crowd starts getting bigger.]

[hey, Wu is here! Thanks to his experience in the Castle as well as the influence of Stella and Zenos (and several others who helpfully offered up their Opinion along the way,) Wu has gone in a...decidedly different direction than canon. Since returning to the Earth Kingdom, he's gotten rid of Kuvira with help from Stella and Zenos and stepped in to rule as rightful Heir and King. Though he's not the tyrant his Great Aunt was, he is ruling as a monarch and doing his best to make his kingdom a prosperous nation. He is trying to make things better for the poorer areas of Ba Sing Se, and part of that is opening up the gates to all Rings and allowing for a Forum for people to express their thoughts once a month.

That being said...well. Being a king, especially one attached at the hip to a very powerful queen of a mysterious foreign land and her...boyfriend? Big guy??? You know what, don't worry about it--anyway, being in that position naturally comes with making more than a few enemies.

That is to say: Wu's finally started becoming used to the occasional corpse of an enemy that Zenos drops on the carpet like a cat bringing home a dead rat. At least he's managed to stop getting blood everywhere when he does so.

Anyway, if Wu's at a party, he's probably sipping mulled wine and looking around, chatting up just about anyone because if there's one thing he's readily improved at, it's diplomacy. After all, someone has to balance out Stella and Zenos. Roundmates will notice that Wu has gotten a little taller and a little more broad-shouldered. He also carries himself differently--from a noodley twink to a slightly less noodley twink with a bit of stateliness. That is to say...he's carrying himself more like a king. He's not 100% there yet; he's still Wu after all. But it's certainly a noticeable change. He'll be dressed like a king, at least--with the latest Earth Kingdom fashion, obviously in green.]

[ Oh god it's a baby. She's even younger than Ib was when she was stuck in the game???? And she looks scared.

Ib's a teenager now, but she still remembers how she felt at that age and tries to channel it. ]

Are you trying to find someone?

[ Anya might recognize Ib as one of the round 1 veterans, but she has aged a whole lot and also didn't say a word lmao, so. ]

[ Ah yes, modern suburbia. Zack has not missed this place at all. Seriously, life as an adventurer in Pensee beats being a low class serial killer with no future whatsoever. He even has an actual family now!

The only reason he even showed up is probably getting to see some of the folks he met in what he calls Magical Girl Hell. At least he got to keep his Magical Form so he won't have to deal with anyone recognizing him off a wanted poster or something.

If you need him, he'll be snacking on some chips and whatever random thing from the buffet looked good enough with cola. If he recognizes you (and you're not Szayelaporro or Tamamo-no-mae) he might give you a lazy wave. Might be significantly less lazy if you're Eliza or Recette. ]

Her experiences have given her fight or flight with dolls, and she usually goes for fight, but it appears to not be a living one...so no threat. Right now, at least...it's thinking, though...]

One of the other big differences is that she's no longer holding her hair in twintails--instead opting for a more mature look.
